i wanted to wish everyone a happy and safe 4th of july.

i am writting this from my cell phone while relaxing in a hammock on top of a hill in spring valley looking over our celebration. wow so relaxing and comforting.

today is a day we celebrate the birth of america. i just can help think how much longer will america last for. i mean even rome fell, even the ottman empire fell, even the great eyptian empire fell.

So, I just installed ScribeFire a pretty sweet FireFox plugin that enables you to blog with in FireFox. Seems simple enough. I will testing this out over the next week or so. Hopefully, it will get me to post more often.

I wanted to let everyone know that I am headed out to Las Vegas for a couple of days and will be trading my computer and email in for whiskey, smokes, gambling, and dark lit places. It is a big fight weekend so the town should be in full swing! Also, I get to stay at my favorite hotel, the MGM where they still have the old school quarter horse racing machines!

O Crap Speaking at My First Conference

Thats right folks Imnotadoctor will be making his conference debut Wednesday June 11th at San Diego Ad Club Interactive Marketing Day. I will be speaking on behalf of eVisibility the internet marketing company I work for. I will be speaking with Miguel Salcido aka Search-Junkie and my SEO mentor. We will be discussing “Advanced SEO Techniques“. We will be touching on nofollow tag use, how Google treats duplicate URLS, and tips for local optimization.

When I went to SMX Santa Clara I was disappointed because most of the panels I did not learn shit nor did the speakers share anything ground breaking. So, I have decided to share it all and not be stingy about tips. It should make for an entertaining session.

Now I am a bit nervous about speaking, but since Im so freaken passionate about SEO I think I will be ok.

Side note: For a little Friday fun - I will be doing this for all the laayyydaasss in the world!

Ever since I was born I have wanted to work with a dual monitor setup.

Why?

It looks super nerdy!
Improves efficiency
Reduces the amount of “alt - tabbing”
I can look code and the actual website at the same time
I can always have my email inbox up
I can always have my Twitter screen up

Well geeks.com has come to the rescue. They have sent me NVIDIA GeForce 7300LE 256MB PCI Express VCD w/DVI TV-out and a 17″ Dell 1704FPVT DVI LCD Monitor. I was so excited when they came in the mail and set them up ASAP.

Last Friday I found that Big Local was spamming the Google Local, now Earthlink is?

I No Longer Need My Hands to Play World Of Warcraft
