Do you use the “Phone Book” ?
Posted on April 9th, 2007I was driving into work this morning and heard a tacky radio commercial for the local “Phone Book”.
It when something like this:
I advertise in the Yellow Book and it has brought me 15% more business…..
My business is doing better than ever after advertising in the Yellow Book……
Advertising is like gas to car if you don’t advertise then you won’t make money…..
Then I thought to myself “When the hell was the last time I used the phone book to look up information?” I do not know when I used a phone book last.
Do you?
Personally, I throw my phone book out or throw it at my neighbor in an act of war!
It is only a matter of time before phone books are gone!

Given the typical blog demographic, I wonder how accurate an online poll of this nature can really be…

I like how they are trying to make it more hip by referring to it as the “Yellow Book”. Sounds naughty. Believe it or not, I do use the phone book often at my Mom and Dad’s house…its just one of those things. Great site BTW
