3 Simple ways to Increase Your Adsense CTR.

I just wanted to take a brief moment to share some information I have gathered through experience regarding increase your CTR with adsense.

1. Try to place at least one ad with in the page fold. (Page fold is the area of the website that can be seen without scrolling down) Most visitor might only visit your site for a few seconds and you do not want that time to be spent scrolling down.

2. Blend your ads to match your website color scheme. Make them look they belong on the site. Seems like common sense but I have seen a lot of site over look this step.

3. Place images next to your ads. This will draw attention to your ads. Make sure to place a separating line or border between the ads and the images. Also, do not use images that are directly correlated with the ad. IE if you has a Playstation 3 website do not place pictures of the game console next to the ads. You could use generic gaming controls or fun avatars.

You may not see this strategy on this website, but I practice this on several website and get a ctr of around 10-15%.
