Side Project

March 27th, 2007 by imnotadoctor

A few weeks ago I finished putting up a website for my brother’s side business of installing blinds/shades in Suttons Bay Michigan. He wanted a web presence so he turned to me. So what did I do? I built him a chill and effective site for dirt cheap. Yes I charged my brother for my work. What I got to pay the bills and get my poker money some how.

I built it on a wordpress template then modify the crap out of it. Let me know you think about Busters Blinds of Sutton Bay.

What I had to give my bro some link love!

Gotta love my ghetto graphic job as well.

I love the simplicity of it.

    Two basic things:

Think about increasing linespacing a bit. More open linespacing will make the page ‘feel’ more accessible.

Also, use bullets and shorter paragraphs. Great sales copy generally has 4-5 lines per paragraph, maximum.
