Well we should all know that the Big D left SEW as of today and has moved over to his new creation searchengineland.com. The question of what will happen to SEW once Danny leaves has been on the mind of everyone. I mean today I noticed there were no posts this morning at all until I saw WWSD? (What Would SEOs Do?) The Future of Search Engine Watch. Elizabeth wants to know:
We would love to hear your feedback via e-mail - please use newera@searchenginewatch.com to send your thoughts on what SEW should focus on for the future, ranging from editorial influence to site usability, and beyond. We’d also love to hear your suggestions on thought leaders in the SEM community who you would like to see as columnists.
Personally I do not think they can compete with SearchEngineLand.com on daily events like they have posted in the past. That is what Danny and Barry in company do the best.
What should they do? I say they be more in depth reporting / coverage. More content less post. I would love to see very detailed write ups concerning major events happening in the world of search. I think detail analysis and post will be the only way to save them.
What do you think they should do?
