Keywords from the post title in the url can help search engines placement!

August 31st, 2006 by imnotadoctor

images2.jpgOver at Matt Cutt’s blog he mentions

“Most bloggy sites tend to have words from the title of a post in the url; having keywords from the post title in the url also can help search engines judge the quality of a page.”

Did Matt just give us a nice SEO tip, a piece of the algo code?

He has not responded yet to the comments on his blog regarding this question. It has been thought to help but this is the first confirmation. I will make sure to practice this in the future.
